The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, located in The Dubai Mall, is home to thousands of aquatic creatures, including over 33,000 aquatic animals from over 140 different species. In the 10 million litre tank, there are over 400 sharks and rays. Sand tiger sharks, Giant Groupers, and a variety of other marine species can also be seen in the aquarium.
The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is one of the world’s largest indoor aquariums, and it holds the Guinness World Record for the “Largest Acrylic Pane.” This progression of carefully developed and organised experiences allows guests to get up close and personal with our aquatic species like as sea horses, piranhas, crabs and many others.

Choose the Explorer option to witness white sharks, dugongs, and other marine species up close in the subversive simulator. Drift over the water’s surface in the Aquarium Glass Bottom Boat and see the diverse species swimming underneath.
A fascinating new addition at Underwater Zoo is King Croc, known as nature’s rare phenomenon and one of the world’s largest reptiles – at over 5 meters long and weighing more than 750 kgs. Underwater Zoo regularly hosts innovative exhibits. One such exhibit, ‘UAE’s Night Creatures’ presents the experience of nightfall in the desert as creatures of the night or dark.
